This Week In Hive Mind
John Mulaney watches the royals, Mary needs an intervention, and the Harry Potter movies are now Christmas canon
As we enter a unique holiday season devoid of the hustle and bustle, one might argue we need an abundance of Christmas content now more than ever. And I won’t disagree. I will, however, remind you that it’s a marathon, not a sprint, and if you burn through Home Alone, The Muppet Christmas Carol, and It’s A Wonderful Life the day after Thanksgiving you might regret not pacing yourself.

The Crown Season 4
This week on Hive Mind Lindsey Encinas joined me and Eli to discuss the latest season of The Crown.
Had we known John Mulaney is a royal watcher, we would have invited him to join us.

Emily and I get into the Mary drama and the latest housewives gossip on our latest episode of The Green Room.
Stuff You Might Like From Around The Internet
The New York Times has an entertainment gift guide for the pop culture lovers in your life. Remember when you could just buy your dad a Band Of Brothers box set and make his whole year? Has streaming ruined Christmas?
Mara Reinstein at The Ringer chronicles the iconic Saved By The Bell episode “Jessie’s Song” wherein Jessie becomes addicted to caffeine pills. I had forgotten that Screech dresses in drag and that the name of the girl group Jessie forms with Kelly and Lisa was named Hot Sundae.
I had thought Hillbilly Elegy might be so bad it would be fun to watch, but David Sims at The Atlantic in this review has convinced me watching the Netflix release is an insufferable slog not worth any of our time. Can we not do better by two of our most talented women in Hollywood?
